Clifford
Since the original Clifford the Big Red Dog book came out in 1963, this dog has captured the hearts of children all over the world. He has starred in numerous TV shows and movies and even has his own theme park ride at Universal Studios!
Clifford was created by author and illustrator Norman Bridwell. His wife had asked him to create a children’s book, and he came up with the idea for a big red dog. He sent the manuscript to multiple publishers, and after several rejections, it was finally published!
