Nevermind Batman, These Jokers Have Taken Over The Screen

The Joker, the iconic villain from the DC comics, has been portrayed by various actors throughout the years in different films and TV shows. In some cases, the character has even overshadowed his nemesis, Batman. But what is it about this character that makes him so fascinating? Perhaps it is his unpredictability, twisted sense of humor, or just the pure evil that emanates from him. The Joker was originally created as a one-off villain for Batman’s first appearance in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Still, the character became so popular that he has remained a mainstay in the Batman universe ever since.
