From “Scooby-Doo” To “Adventure Time:” These Kids Cartoons Can Be Enjoyed By Adults Too

There have been numerous good cartoons for children over the years. But one of the best of all time is definitely Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Scooby was designed by Iwao Takamoto, an animator at Hanna-Barbera. However, according to the American Kennel Club, Great Danes are “the mighty ‘Apollo of Dogs,'” which is very unlike the silly and cowardly character they portrayed on the show. On February 10, 1940, MGM released the short Puss Gets the Boot in theaters, introducing the cartoon cat and mouse. Young animators Joseph Barbera and William Hanna created the animal adversaries. And the rest is history.
