A Bug’s Life: is it really even close to being good?
Some Redditors believe Flick is a dull, boring lead, not one of those compelling protagonists. Outside of being the hopeful dreamer who does not fit, he offers very little. Speaking of which, the rest of the ants are not particularly appealing either.
Hopper is a fantastic villain, a brutal dictator, but he also understands that the power of one who stands up to him may inspire others to do the same. That point of view makes him a great smart villain who carries the film.
