Edward Scissorhands
This graphic novel is an adaptation of Burton’s 1990 film of the same name. Both tell the story of a young man with scissors for hands who is taken in by a kind-hearted family and explore themes like love, acceptance, and the dangers of conformity.

Edward Scissorhands turned out to be a financial success, grossing over four times its $20 million budget! The main character of the film, Edward, was actually inspired by the director’s own feelings of isolation and detachment growing up in the suburbs of Burbank, California.
