The Real Ghostbusters
The Real Ghostbusters was an animated TV show based on the 1984 hit movie Ghostbusters. Just like in the film, this series follows the Ghostbusters team fighting supernatural beings in New York City. It ran for seven seasons, totaling 140 episodes.
The original Ghostbusters is not related to this popular animated series. In fact, the show’s creators had a hard time obtaining permission from Columbia Pictures to use the name. However, this show followed the same characters from the original film.
